Not all Apps function – Purchased as a test to use with a discount carrier. Basic functions like making phone calls, text messaging and email via Outlook all work very good. Video streaming is hit and miss depending on the source. Some apps work fine while others do not even load. Audio streaming has the same functionality as video. The phone works well when it works, it makes a good backup but I wouldn’t have it as my primary device.

Flew off my motorcycle going sixty a couple scratches but it did not break and works fine. – Fingerprints and face recognition worked lowsy but the phone is durable and able to withstand just about all the different problems like dropping it in the toilet or throwing it at the wall.

Potentially a decent phone but not there yet. – The Armor8 on paper is a great phone for the price. My unit showed 8G RAM and 128G ROM on the system. It is a solidly built device that should take a beating in real world use. The finger print reader works well, though it is positioned on the side. I played with the facial recognition and it did seem that work well, but I disabled it after testing.

Doesn’t work with Cricket – I was really looking forward to keeping this phone. The only thing I didn’t like so far was that the finger print sensor didn’t really work. But shortly after I put my sim card in, I couldn’t make phone calls or send/recieve texts. It says that it works with “old” Cricket sim cards, which I’ve had my nano sim card for a couple years now, but they said it wasn’t compatible and that they had suspended my service until I put my sim in a compatible phone. Their customer service couldn’t tell me what was wrong, but said it might have to do with their HD voice network. And the website mentions that global phones might have interference from other networks.

Battery stand long – This phone is amazing, it’s fast and all the animations for the apps are smooth. The battery lasts for a very long time. Typing is very easy and good to use. The phone is big so there is a lot of screen area to watch videos on. The fingerprint power button is very good, and super fast. The cameras are very good, all photos that i have taken on this phone are very detailed. Overall a very good phone to get.

Rugged phone – I got this to replace my daughters 4 year old phone that no longer hold a charge. This ends up being a huge upgrade. The interface is snappy to use and the new android OS have tons more features. It came with a screen protector and the casing is very rugged. My daughter drop tested it unintentionally a few times already and it has stand up to the abuse.
