Great phone, great deal! – I’m not the glued to my phone type. I didn’t want to change phones because the process is less than fun. The phones are evidently engineered to force upgrade due to memory issues. Funny, since I text, rarely make calls & use virtually no data. Nevertheless, I was forced to upgrade. I waited quite some time to review this phone. I LOVE THIS PHONE. The change was EASY for the very first time! I’m actually using the phone. I didn’t realize how bad my earlier phones were until I got this one. I stayed with T-Mobile for YEARS because I was afraid of Tracfone. I was a complete idiot. I can’t guess how much extra money that cost me. I spend peanuts now. Once a year. I’m extremely happy.

… – This phone seems to OK for my use. I am still trying to learn to use it. If you purchase one, check the IMEI number in the phone against the one on listed on the red card. Mine did not match and created problems when transferring my phone number. Once I used the IMEI number listed in the phone, everything went smoothly, but someone in Shreveport now has a messed up phone.

Awesome phone! – I usually buy cheap phones because I live in an area that doesn’t get good reception, so it’s pointless to me to pay lots of money for a fancy phone. Since this was at a good price, and only a little more then I usually pay for a smart phone, I ordered it. I’m glad I did. I’m actually able to get 2-3 bars in my home consistently. I thought my house was basically a dead zone. Nobody had ever gotten better then 1 bar, no matter what phone or carrier they had. I guess TracFone with a good smart phone was what I needed. Very happy with this purchase.

Great phone with a very poor battery! – I was hoping all the reviews about the battery not even lasting through 1 day were incorrect. Unfortunately that is exactly the case. Even when you adjust all the settings off of high quality you only get a tiny bit more time. If you use a number of apps like I do, social media, email, etc, the battery lasts maybe 8 hours! I was used to my previous smartphone lasting a week being used exactly the same way! It’s a good phone otherwise. I bought it for the larger internal memory to be able to use more apps but the battery life takes away being able to use a lot of the features I bought it for. If the battery lasted at least a couple days I’d give it 5 stars! Still a good deal for me as I spend very little money using Tracfone. I’m sticking with it for now. Carry chargers wherever you go! It’s got great color, great sound, great camera and many other good features.

No SIM – luckily I had a backup – The SIM card was missing when the item arrived. Luckily my old phone’s SIM was compatible. After two tries with customer service, the phone was working. It would have only taken one session, but the first person refused to activate the SIM and wanted me to buy a new one. I suspect they were trying to keep their handle time low. I upgraded from a Galaxy S5. So far I’m pleased with the performance of this phone. Three stars because the product was missing the piece needed for the phone to work!
