Disappointed! – I had an LG 3G phone that my daughter bought for me many years ago and I loved it. I only used it in my car for emergencies. Having had to get a 4G and wanting another Tracfone, I got another brand and found it a bit difficult to operate. So I searched and found a 4G LG brand. A bit larger in size, also the keypads and the the rest of the inside is like my old one. Operation of it is somewhat similar. I dislike that the minutes and the due date for adding minutes are not on it when I first turn it on. That was a great feature and made no sense to take it off. I am having trouble finding that info. now, which I was told to do it on my computer. Another reason I am disappointed is the cost, which was about four times the price of my old one. One more dislike I have is adding contacts. There were more steps involved and it was a bit confusing. Newer technology is not always good and user friendly.

An LG 4G Classic flip phone – The last LG flip phone we had was a 3G that could not be used anymore because the towers were improved and would not accept a 3G anymore. This 4G phone is very similar to our 3G phone but is a little larger which is nice and is easier to use. It even fits in the travel case that we had for the 3G. Tracfone was and still is the network we use by the year or more and we are still pleased with them. Now though I have been informed that Verizon is in the process of taking over Tracfone within a couple years but that is okay because Verizon is a good company and will probably be even better than Tracfone is now. If you don’t want or need an expensive smart phone, this LG should be more than satisfactory for you.

It’s worth the original price value of $30 but not more – This phone is it it’s not worth more than $30 the sturdiness is not the best, the sound is not the best, and the system is not the best and as well as the operating system is very slow but for $30 debatable The reason why this phone is it became so expensive is because there isn’t a selection of 4G flip phones that’s why there is shortages from flip phones, because everybody wants a flip phone and the paying through the nose you even it’s not worth it

It is 4g – 4g appears at top of the home screen with the vertical bars and the funnel wi-fi signal also. It is small and faint, but it is there. I was able to connect to wi-fi, I just had to enter the wi-fi password. The white/gray background with black letters/numbers make it easy to see. I am a senior with one hearing aid and not tech savvy. I use the cell phone for necessities only, which isn’t much. I was able to get it on vibration mode by pressing the # key and then I clicked off the ringtones in the settings section. The SOS button can only be programed for one cell phone number not for 911. This phone feels and looks like it is quality made. I had a little trouble hearing the volume when it was at its highest of #7 in a test call to my sister who was in the next room. Then I pressed the speaker phone button and I could hear her fine. She said she doesn’t speak loud over the phone, so I think that is why I could barely hear her at #7. The 4g signal goes out sometimes and 1x shows up where the 4g was. I think it is because I am in the house, but it goes back on in a short while. I live in a rural area, I don’t think it is the phones fault. My old 3g phone did the same but stayed off signal most of the time and it was very frustrating. I have since understood some things about 3g and 4g and signals. I thought it was tracfone and my 3g phones fault, but now I understand it is not. I have been very stressed and disappointed with cell phones which have always been tracfones. I think this one will not be a disappointment because it is 4g and I understand more about the technology.

LG Tracfone fine. Tracfoe serviec terrible! – Finally got my new phone set up in March of 2022. It worked fine until a month later when the bogus caller ID “Call from Heather Hilton” was put on my phone. It took months and hours of wasted time and finally they made it so the phone didn’t work at all. I called the FCC and not long after Tracfone corporate called, made the phone work and put a proper caller ID on. Recently I got an email on a Friday from Tracfone saying I’d contacted them about missing minutes (which I hadn’t). I tried the phone and all the minutes were gone. I got repeats of that email until Sunday afternoon. I tried my phone later and my minutes were back.
