    Purchase advice :

    • Warranty :

Check the duration of the warranty and also the faults and defects it covers. Is it complete or limited? and What is included in the warranty (parts, repairs or both)?

    • Shipping :

Is delivery offered? And how long does it take to get delivered (Delivery time)

    • Proof of purchase :

Does the shop give you an invoice ?

    • After-sales service :

Do they have an after-sales service to have information about the installation or operation (instructions for use). Also in case of problem, it is the seller who takes charge or you must contact the manufacturer or supplier yourself.

Stopped working after only THREE WEEKS – It was a pretty good phone, but then it froze and stopped booting up. There’s a message saying that the System UI doesn’t work anymore. Bought it “New”, never dropped it, never tossed it around, never downloaded anything shady, probably downloaded only up to five apps anyways, barely used it. Seems that this isn’t an uncommon problem for the Sony Xperia, but it’s more alarming that this phone has become completely unusable in less than a month of use.

Horrible performance, the phone has been a Big Fail – Excited to get my second Xperia phone I bought this online. Understanding this model is the low end option for Sony I did not expect this. The phone acts as if it’s processor has been swapped out. Slow is an understatement. It freezes choppy and has never not once performed close to as well as any smartphone I have ever witnessed. I gave up on it finally and am switching over to a friend’s old Pixel XL2. It is like night and day. I cannot believe Sony would release this product at this price point and it has been suggested to me that I was sold a faulty phone by Amazon seller. Knowing or not that this phone is not what it was intended to be it has been too long to return I suppose. The entire time I believed that it was my phone service that was slowing my phone down. When I took my Sim out nothing changed and my Sim in the pixel has no effect on it. So beware of this Amazon Seller when buying products. I wish I could get refunded for all of my time and stress. My new phone turned out to be a major disaster that hurt my relationships with people close and my business dealings. Though there is no way to make things right Amazon should refund my money in full pay to have this fake Sony phone shipped back to its seller and more.

Good Phone Overall – Great phone! My first Sony smartphone ever. I changed to Sony from iPhone followed Samsung. Really disappointed by the exterior design of Apple since Steve Jobs’ death, or the terribly tuned Android System in the Galaxy S7. This L1 is so great that it makes me writing this long review, also my first review for online shopping. Sony’s software engineers did great work making that Android System so comfortable and very user-friendly.

Worthwhile if upgrading from an inferior model, but do your research. – I purchased this as an upgrade to a Moto G4 Play which was running LineageOS 14.1 (AOSP 7.1.2 Nougat). I needed a phone with a more reliable GPS, and the NFC option (for things like Android Pay) greatly enticed me (though I’ve yet to really try it out just yet). After having the phone a few days, here are my thoughts:
