Don’t Let the Word Renewed Scare You Away! – I cannot believe it! My Samsung s21 FE cell phone is awesome! I convinced myself that I would be okay with a scratch or some other flaw when FedEx delivered my new phone. I inspected the entire thing, visually and mechanically, only to find that I bought a perfect, beautiful lavender cell phone at a discounted price. It proves to me that sometimes the offers that seem too good to be true, really are true!

Basically brand new but with some concerns – I ordered this expecting somwhat of a slightly used phone just as the title described with some but very subtle marks from wear and tear. It basically came brand new and performed as best as it possibly can BUT and this is a big but. The packaging. Horrendous, when I received the package in my hands you could literally shake the phone inside the box and hear it freely hit the walls along with the charger and the USB C cable(kudos for that). I basically shipped out this item out of the US so besides going through many people in UPS and many miles in a truck with a lot of possible turbulence it also flew many miles to my country till I was able to retrieve it. It other words PLENTY OF CHANCES FOR IT TO GET DESTROYED. That on itself speaks more about the quality and durability of the device than the effort placed by the vendor to make it at leas a little bit safe. Even a bit of bubble wrap would’ve been appreciated. Otherwise it came in a brand new state. Fingerprint sensor worked great, performance is great, battery life is amazing, the face recognition works good. Now my only advice would be to be careful with what over the screen screen protector you choose since it will DEFINITELY interfere with the fingerprint sensor, I learned that the hard way and went from having a snappy instantaneous sensor to failing to recognize my fingers multiple times in a row. All in all I would recommend for people to buy this if they are within the US. But for outsiders its too much of a gamble to risk your hard earned money with sub-par packaging.

Not like new – I love the Galaxy phones and this one is no different. When I cracked the screen on my old one I decided to get a refurbished one since it’s such a great deal. The last two phones I have had were refurbished and other than battery life I’ve never had an issue. I should have just returned this one right away. Setting up took forever, when usually it’s easy to go from Galaxy to Galaxy. The battery life isn’t great, I use my phone a lot and cannot make it through the day without charging it. Finally things just don’t work well. I’ve had multiple issues pairing Bluetooth devices and apps needing to be reinstalled. Overall just not a great phone, based on my experience with Galaxies in the past and reviews I’m blaming it on the refurbished part. Definitely not “like new”.

But when I went to charge it today, it wld not connect n charge. I restarted it and tried several chargers before I was finally able to get it connect. No idea what the issue is but when I spoke to Amazon they told me they can only do refunds then I have to purchase a new phone. Unfortunately that leaves me without a phone for several days. But otherwise the phone is generally great.
