Bill in Florida – The phone would probably work for someone else but not for our needs. I thought I was purchasing a Samsung Galaxy J3 (6). The two phones are similar, but not the same. We already have four J3-6s and this J3 SM will not fit our needs. Amazon was very accommodating and allowed us to return the unused phone. We will continue to shop Amazon due to their excellent customer support.

I’m not paying $500 for a smart phone. I’m not part of the mobile workforce – You get what you pay for. I’m not paying $500 for a smart phone. I’m not part of the mobile workforce, so I don’t need an S8 or even an S7. The J3 is perfectly adequate. And if it gets jacked or breaks? Big deal. Lock it down with “where’s my droid’. So far so good. I arranged to return this initially, but decided not to (conflicting post-purchase reviews vs my own experience). Also, user replaceable battery +1.Phone feels solid, but a gorilla glass protector and a good case and you’ve got what you need.

Great phone at a great price – Great phone at a great price. Can get a little laggy at times, but usually it’s just fine. Feels a bit like a modernized S3 (and the S3 was one of my favorite phones). Battery life is fantastic—I can usually get a solid two days on a single charge, sometimes even three days. And when it comes to Android, you can’t beat that Samsung look and feel. All the Samsung goodness in a sleek, very thin model at a fantastic price!

A Great Phone For the Price – I have been very pleased with this phone since it arrived. I use it with a T-Mobile network and it replaced a candy bar style slider phone. I am not a smart phone guy. Have nothing against them, just don’t have a need for them, but getting plain old flip phones were getting harder and harder and the last one was one of those Samsung refurbs with some KooBoo firmware. I bought it because it isn’t as huge as the other ludicrous phones being made today and that it wasn’t an Apple product. Anyway, this unlocked phone works as advertised. One should note that there is still some AT&T factory branding in there that you cannot get rid of and for phone power users might impede their use but has had zero impact on my usage.

Not what I ordered, wont connect to primary wifi. – I purchased this phone and received a Galaxy Prime Express Go Phone, although they may be the same model the Go Phone is offered for sale for $50 less at the grocery/department store in Portland Oregon and by AT&T on-line. I had thought maybe this was a better model but after two weeks the wifi stopped connecting and went gray. I couldn’t connect to my new Hughes 5th Gen although all my other devices did nor the existing wifi extender, my password was not accepted, after a phone chat with Amazon tech and a factory reset I still received authentication error messages for the wifi extender and the Hughes wifi still just blinked up and down with the extender id. After a day or two the extender connected after a random try. It did not even see the Hughes 5g signal. I sent it back.

Great phone! – After having several other cellphones of various makes, etc over the last few years I must say this is the best one I have ever owned. As far as I’m concerned it does everything it is supposed to do just the way it should. I don’t notice any slowness at all in rendering webpages or whatever – but then I don’t play games on it. Battery life is phenomenal.

    8. G. K (verified owner)

Not for Tracphone, (or Verizion or ATT) – this doesn’t seem to be a bad phone, I can’t really fully review it in my area its fairly nice when you have a (WiFi) network to connect it to. However I live in a rural area where I have limited service. Tracfone claimed this would work in my area, but it does not. So I can only use it to make calls when I am sitting in my home next to my network. In rural areas it is not a mobile phone. Maybe 20 years from now I will be able to use it, but not today

It’s a great phone, great price and it serves my needs! – Don’t like spending hundreds on cell phones, well if you are like me I don’t and I did a lot of research. My cell provider is Republic Wireless (most people haven’t heard of them but they are the cheapest, for real! Saving me hundreds of dollars!!! Check’em out if you are tired of throwing your money away! They aren’t a pay as you go either! Joined a little over 3 years ago and at that time they only had Motorola devices & no BYOP, my Moto G was fading fast and was biting the bullet when I dropped it in the pool. They offered the J3 but was out of stock, 3 weeks passed so I had to look elsewhere for the J3, came to my favorite shopping site “Amazon” , fair price and received in 2 days Prime. I have always liked Samsung Electronics, have bought cells, TV’s, VCR’s(what’s that lol), DVD Players’s and a Washer & Dryer! Last a very long time! I have small hands so all smart phone’s I can’t hold and touch screen, screen size is great not too big not to small & it is fast compare to my 2012 Moto G. I’m not loaded down with apps but I have a fair share, around 15, I not a gamer but I use it to check email, surf, have a lot of docs on file, photos and have used 10.54 gb of the 16 (Moto had 13 gb & couldn’t add a memory card) Always need a minimum of 1 gb on all smart phones to have for phone use, remember you got it to make & receive calls right, we not sure about that anymore by most lol! But I do,well I do text a lot; but no social media! This isn’t the newest model out there but I think it’s going to be a great phone! It’s about the only phone out there that you can remove the battery if it needs to be replaced or if you want to have an extra battery for back up your good to go! The back is plastic and many may say “that’s cheap” but it doesn’t matter because it’s gonna be covered right? Only used the camera twice, I didn’t think it lagged but I’m not using it to shot studio head shots or selfies ha! I’m no techie but I think it’s a great phone, great price and it serves my needs! Oh I didn’t get the extended warranty, only get those if I’m spending more than $300 and product has only a year factory warranty. By the way No issue to transfer my contact’s, files or apps, even did it wireless!!!!I Purchased as a Prime Sold by Amazon, paid a little more for doing so but I know the seller right?
