Doesn’t get good reception but it is a flip phone . – The reception is terrible and difficult to set up

Good if you don’t have cricket – I only tried it with a cricket wireless sim card, new and old and both slots. I could not get it to work.

The outer screen is broken. But I like the phone & will get it fixed. – I am over 70 years old and choose not to have a smart phone, so am happy to have this phone.

Sent numerous emails and tried calling many times no answer, no email replies. – After many emails sent and no replies, numerous phone calls and no one answering their phone just might be a fly by night company that might never planned on trying to support their customers with any phone problems. Tried to contact Plum concerning phone charger used in a vehicle. Seems there might not be any such vehicle chargers at all, since I cannot make contact with plum company or any representatives to help with this problem.

Disappointed – The battery goes dead quick. Have to charge every day. This phone does not let you call out or receive calls all the time. You have to turn phone off and back on again before it will take calls. Have to shut it off every day and back on. Very disappointed in this phone.

NOT good upgrade to Ram 8! – NOT good upgrade to Ram 8 which had better features & screen display! Can’t save any edits to text templates which you could do with the Ram 8 and even the bad start Plum Flipper! Not even one of those text templates can I use so the feature is worthless. Those orange boxes are hard to read screen displays. PLEASE bring back the Ram 8 display design! Can’t wait til automated phone function fix is released on Flipper. It is better than Ram Plus except for those orange boxes!

Phone crhonmically dropped service in areas of good cell coverage. – There is much to dislike about this phone. the user interface is primitive and awkward ( I don’t mean compared to smart phones, I mean it’s primitive and awkward compared to other feature phones) Texting is particularly difficult (again, compared to other flip phones I have owned) But probably the most serous defect is that the phone would chronically drop service when you move from one cellular “cell” to another. This is in an area with good cellular coverage. I would frequently find that after having driven to a different part of town, the phone was no longer usable. It would not receive phone calls, you could not make phone calls. Curiously, it would receive voice mail notifications. This was usually how I discovered that I had missed calls, as I would get a voice mail notification. Despite the notification, I would be unable to retrieve that voice mail, not make any outgoing calls. Nor would I ever get a “missed call notification” Looking at the display, there was no indication that the phone had failed, the icons indicated that it was in contact with the network and receiving 4G service .. but you were not. You would have to turn the phone off, then turn it back on again, and it would establish contact with the network, and would work normally … until you moved into the area of a different cell antenna, then it was lather, rinse, repeat. After numerous missed calls, I got a different phone.
