Simple Smartphone Staple – Honestly, it seems like everyday, we do need to pickup our smartphones for all our lives. For myself, I have liked using my smartphones, but found myself in need of a different one, after my unlocked phone crashed & burned. I have been Tracfone customer since 2016, and never left since then. But for myself, just because I have a good cell phone plan, I need the right phones for it. That was a surprise to me, when I saw the Motorola Moto E6. While it isn’t 5G ready, it feels like it is. This phone is fast and runs smoothly on the Android 9 system, without many hiccups. It is a simple smartphone that does the trick well. While I did find it tougher to install some of my apps on the smartphone, because they were not being recognized, I still managed well. This smartphone is a good buy for anyone that has yet to own a one. I suggest you go pick this one up.

Hard to navigate – I’m using this as my second phone but it is difficult to return to the home screen or the previous screen as there is no navigation panel at the bottom. When trying to clear all open apps, swiping up sometimes offers that option but more often it opens the apps panel instead.

OK but can’t move apps onto SD card – Well, you can but you have to modify the entirety of the SD card as Internal Storage which severely limits the usefulness of the SD card. Thankfully I purchased the version with the larger storage.

Great phone – great price – I’m a 25+ year Linux admin guy with lots of time using Android operating systems. My last phone was 6 years old, Nexus 6 on Lineage OS but finally outran some hardware and firmware issues in age.

nice basic smart phone – I’m not a big fan of cell phones but after my expensive Nikon camera quit working I decided to buy a smart phone for the camera. I also got sick of the old style texting on my flip phone. I am very please with those 2 attributes of this phone. For the money, the camera takes pretty good pictures and texting is much faster. The front camera isn’t great but I don’t do ‘selfies’ so I don’t care. It served the purpose I bought it for. I don’t use the internet on the phone much so it is economical for me. I’ve been a Tracfone customer for years with no issues.

Good Smart Phone For Cheapskates – I’m a Mac person so I immensely aggravated by any OS that isn’t Mac because it is unnecessarily difficult to use and loaded with evil ads and apps that mysteriously download onto your phone. And the hoops you have to jump through to download photos or music from your phone onto your computer or vice-versa is not only annoying but a waste of time. Everything is so user friendly on MacOS, not so with Android.

Inexpensive “smart phone” thinks it’s smarter than I am. – For me, even the best smart phone cannot replace a real computer – mostly because touch screens rarely get it right the first time. This may not be true for everyone else – but they can write their own reviews.
