Has all the basic requirements to meet the standard of a smart phone. It’s sort of hard to talk on … – You get what you pay for. This phone is really cheap but it does the job. Has all the basic requirements to meet the standard of a smart phone. It’s sort of hard to talk on it because it’s so small and if you don’t position it correctly people cannot hear you so if that is something that is important, I suggest looking for another phone. Over all, it’s good. It’s customizable, offers a variety of apps, has a lackluster camera but has one nonetheless. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Update: memory is really poor – I have retained the original review below but am updating as I discovered a very big memory problem with this. I installed Facebook and Gmail, then it said I had run out of memory. So I went and purchased a 16gb memory card, problem is, this phone only uses it for songs and photos, so it can’t be used to extend memory. There is also no way to install apps on the memory card. So it functions fine as a basic phone, just don’t expect anything else

Make sure you get a true No contract phone, NOT a Brightspot version – Warning: The description says No Contract TMobile, but the phone as shipped here is as supplied by Target, specifically usable ONLY with the Brighspot subset of T-Mobile services. Truly unlocked Zingers cost more, around $40. If you are OK with Brighspot service, fine, but beware otherwise. Or, look for unlocking services running about $10, after which you can use any prepaid GSM service provider. In fact, I cut down an old legacy mini-SIM, which had prepaid 2G minutes on it, and that worked. The combination of 2G for talk and text, and proper internet/web service through WiFi meets most of my needs at a truly bargain basement cost. I have upgraded from 2 to 3 stars on the basis of a properly unlocked phone – Amazon lists that separately as if it were different !

It’s ok…… – This was the SECOND phone that I had to buy for my Samsung Galaxy III cell, that finally became too “buggy” to USE!:( It’s ok. I have only had it for a couple of days. The phone call sound is FAR better than the Samsung Galaxy, which was truly my FIRST cell phone since flip ones came out. Ok, laugh now, am! However, thus far I do not think it is really worth the 40+ dollars that I paid for it. Not sure if it can be used internationally or not, I have not checked it out fully yet…but I THINK the answer may be “yes”…and one of the reasons why I chose it. I will try to give an affirmative answer/update later…:)

Cheap utilitarian functionality – I am actually blown away. I bought this as a place holder as I broke my nexus 5 and have no insurance or anything.

Very good basic smart phone with unbeatable price – This is a basic smart phone with somewhat limited specs considering today’s other super smart phones. But if you don’t need all those processing powers, super camera, and high quality music playing features, this will be a very good choice. I use this phone mainly for voice calls and text messaging. Although I can set this up for emails too, but because of the small screen size, reading any email message is difficult. I set this phone up with a T-mobile pay as you go plan without data plan and spend about $10 a month. For other fancy smart phone features, I have a tablet, which can do everything a super smart phone can do except making a call. Since I only use the tablet over wifi only, I don’t have to pay any additional costs but for the internet at home. The phone’s battery when fully charged lasts long time. The voice call quality is very good. Although the phone is all plastic, it feels solid. And best of all, the phone costs about $40–when there is a promotion at other places, you can get it at $20. For my needs, I cannot ask for any better phone. If one is looking for a basic smart phone for a very good price, I would suggest to consider this phone.

Nice inexpensive phone for pay as you go. – This a great little phone for cheap. The camera isn’t higher resolution, but it takes pictures, and videos. It has everything you would
