Still like the Windows phones – Needed to replace my Windows phone that was acting up. The one feature I really needed was the personal assistant who would read and respond to text messages for me while driving. After talking to people in the phone stores, I learned that to get that feature on another phone would take me to an iPhone 5 or later. Big price tag. I can’t justify spending a ton of money on a phone. Yeah, I am old school. While you can’t get all the apps on Windows phones, it’s compatible with the blue tooth on my car, has Cortana which is a huge plus for me and to me at least, is very intuitive to use. I realize Microsoft has done away with these phones, so at some point I will need to move on, but for now I am staying with Windows. Just a shame they didn’t put more effort into their apps. Could have been a real competitor for the others.

Perfect, with 2 qualifications – This phone certainly isn’t for everyone, but with two qualifications, it definitely is for many. One, this is neither an Android nor Apple device, so you’re not going to get those popular apps. And two, if you’re not reasonably adept with the start screen tiles on Windows 10, the messy home screen that you get out of the box can be very unappealing.

Best phone ever. – This is the best phone I have ever had or have ever used. Now some people think that Windows Phones are awful but that is only because they were very bad before. The only thing people really have a problem with is that is doesn’t have Snapchat, Snapchat is why people don’t buy these phones. But that is very stupid. There is an official Instagram app and some great alternatives that are better than the official app. If you are willing to give up Snapchat than you will realize how wonderful WPs are. Please don’t let the fact that some apps aren’t on Windows Mobile. Also if you are going to get the phone please remember to update it a lot of people I see with Windows Phones are still running Windows Mobile 8 so please go into the app store and search Windows Insider than select fast. Then you will have the best mobile operating system ever. (In my opinion).

On one side, great phone; on the other side, terrible phone – I bought this phone back in early 2017 and used it for a whole year until I changed phones almost a year ago. I thought to write this review up until now out of nostalgia since Windows Phone is dying, but also because I’ve seen people buying it recently, so in case someone is still thinking on buying one, here’s my 2 cents.
