Will do the job but clearly not high end. – Getting pretty old. Review is at the time (August 2022) many other options are available. Photos are average and “better than nothing”.

Awesome phone and great deal – I already had this same phone that had issues. This phone is great. One tiny mark on screen but can hardly see it. Works great and the batter lasts for two full days. Probably 80% but real good for asking price. Just ordered another one for my wife. I hope it’s as good as this one. I had just bought the Moto stylus for twice as much and it was unusable. It’s a brand new phone but just a piece of crap. Underpowered and terrible build.

For content creation, it’s great! – I have used LG phones on the Tracfone network for a long time. I currently use a V35 for my regular phone needs, and like the overall performance and camera features. But for making videos and taking stills, I wanted a separate phone, so I purchased this V40, and I have been completely satisfied with it. The triple camera setup is extremely useful, as is the audio input jack. The screen is good, as is the battery life. The wifi and Bluetooth work as they should. Also, the phone arrived quickly, and in great condition. For content creation, this meets all of my needs!

Got exactly what I needed – I got this phone to replace a 3 year old V40 that wouldn’t hold a charge for more than an hour and had a hard time charging. I didn’t want to buy a brand new phone because I wanted to hold out for the upcoming S22 release, but I needed something to get me by since I heavily rely on my phone for work. Read some of the bad reviews about it not being unlocked, not being paid for, not being on the Verizon network as advertised, but since I needed a phone, I figured I’d take the chance. Battery life is significantly better than what my old phone was, but definitely not 100% as if it were brand new from the factory. This thing was advertised to be at least 80% battery, and I’m more than content with that. Also, I haven’t run into anything that hasn’t worked yet: cameras, fingerprint readers, screen, charging (both wired and wireless), buttons, etc. Everything works like it’s supposed to and I couldn’t be happier.

Beyond expectations for a 2 year old used phone. – Went from an LG V10 and now to this beauty. Loved my LG V10. Had it for 3 years and 6 batteries. It just wouldn’t stop going, other than the short battery life and failing charging port. After putting the phone through hell, it was showing its age and decided to get an upgrade. I have always got a new phone from Verizon, but was kinda bummed by the pricing of the V60, G8X, and even the V50. Then I learned how Verizon Capitalized their Company where you have to buy a Verizon phone for it to work. Even with the pricing of used phones, Verizon is more expensive. The V40 from a third-party seller was the option I took.
