Not real happy with this phone. – Phone didn’t come fully unlocked. AT&T code was still in the phone for the Data, so I still can’t get data. Battery has about half of its life gone. Needs charged every day if it even makes it that far. But it’s still the toughest phone on the market. I can handle all my constant dropping it, even on concrete. That’s why I bought it.

Tough phone but battery doesn’t last – I waited a few months to give this review. I won’t even go into the frustration about the ineptitude of UPS in trying to get this delivered in a timely manner. I almost rejected it because of them. After shopping around to replace my Samsung, I decided to get this one, being a little hesitant about getting something refurbished. I would’ve replaced it with another Samsung but the last one was a real P.O.S.. The Kyocera is a tough phone for people who are rough on phones. I’ve dropped it several times and it keeps on ticking. The programs take some getting used to since they’re a little different from my previous phone. It performed well for the last few months but recently the battery would drain really quick or it wouldn’t even accept a charge. I can’t recommend this phone, or any one other one for that matter. They just don’t make things worth a crap, anymore. The Chinese are known for their poor quality and this phone is no exception. Iphones have always sucked. Samsungs used to be decent, but this phone has been the worst so far. Avoid this phone.

Not Unlocked – Misrepresentation of Listing – I ordered this phone for my other half to replace his old Kyocera because he is tough on phones and the Kyocera is ruggedized. Our cell carrier is AT&T, so I was glad to find this listing of unlocked phones that can run on its network. However, when I received the phone, there were issues with it:

Best phone, I love it. – This is the best phone for me. It’s damn near bullet proof. I just wish the port covers were I bit more perfect. After a few years the usb port cover stopped closing all the way. But it’s still great and the phone owes me nothing. I’d buy another one no questions about it

Very unhappy – Well I order this phone to replace my old one because I love this phone. My is carrier is att and been I got the phone it was a t-mobile phone. But it was supposed to be unlocked and it wasn’t. My SIM card didn’t work for the phone. I call and then sent me out other one and it was supposed to be att and unlocked when it came another t-mobile phone. So I have to send back 2 phone. Very unhappy with that they lied in the description about the phone. Will not be order from them again.

A phone for those of us who are outdoors, on-the-go, and don’t want to worry – I live in the wilderness of southeastern Arizona, where I am outdoors running, hiking, working in the sun, rain, dirt, mud most every day. I simply cannot afford to be worried about my phone. if I bring to the garden to take photos, or have it as a calendar reminder a leg pocket, it’s going to get dirty guaranteed. Once home again, I simply wash it off under the faucet, shake dry, and it’s good to go. Almost.

Battery is junk…Phone is great. – Received it, had zero battery charge. Took over 12 hours to charge to 100% on day one… It has been 4 days and we have yet to be able to get the phone to gold or take a charge to 100% again. Every day it with 6-8 hours of charge time it will only get about 30-35% battery charge….JUNK…. I just ordered another battery on EBAY as I don’t have confidence if I send this back that I would not have the same issues… otherwise phone LOOKS good as new.. but it’s no more than a paper weight if you have to keep it plugged in to use it.
