Bricked Right After Warranty – Loved this phone but it bricked right after warranty ended. Same thing happened with my Pixel 3. Can’t recommend despite early good performance.

Scratched Up Phone & Very Hot Battery – I am extremely disappointed with the product I’ve received. After having such a good experience purchasing a refurbished product on Amazon before I decided to do it again, and I was incredibly disappointed by the phone. The front of the phone looks perfect, the back however, is scratched up as is the back-facing camera. The charging port & the speakers on the bottom half of the phone are by far the worst. They are covered in some kind of white dust which disrupts the charging process & the sound. Also the phone got incredibly hot after about 5 minutes of use (during which I browsed the internet). I had such high hopes for this product & I’m incredibly disappointed. Will be returning as soon as I can. I should have known better then to buy a product without any reviews. Buyer beware.

Excellent Device – does not have facial recognition. fingerprint reader works the second time every time. does not have a native music app, uses youtube music instead but you can switch it to ‘device only’ content. I miss the power on one side volume rocker on the other but thats personal preference. photos never get truly deleted which can be irksome but that’s a google issue not a pixel 5a issue. phone gets slightly warm on first charge but haven’t had an issue with warmth in later chargings.

But when I enter the phones IMEI number on either the Xfinity Mobile or Verizon compatibilty websites, the phone is deemed “Not Compatible” and wont work on these networks.
