– An sich ist die Kombination aus Telefon, Nachtsicht- und Wärmebildkamera genial. Das Telefon ist wertig verarbeitet lediglich Display und Prozessor könnten besser sein. Das Hauptproblem, weshalb ich es leider zurücksenden musste, ist die Tatsache das es nach dem Systemupdate als Telefon nicht mehr zu nutzen war. Die Telefon App führt zu permanenten Neustarts, welche nur durch das entfernen der SIM Karte behoben werden kann. Die Firmware auf der Herstellerseite enthält den gleichen Fehler! Der Support reagiert zeitversetzt, kann aber nur auf die Firmware der HP verweisen. Wirklich schade das ein so tolles Gerät durch mangelnde Software unbrauchbar ist! Zur Vollständigkeit, es wurden verschiedene SIM Karten getestet in zwei Geräten innerhalb von drei Wochen.

Cool phone but kept restarting. – I purchased this phone because I owned a Cat S48c and it was time to upgrade. I really wanted a rugged thermal capable phone but the Cat S62 was starting to become obsolete. After some research I decide to go with the Doogee S98 Pro because of all of its attractive features and affordable price point. Once I received the phone, I started it and transferred files from my old device as prompted. After transfer and setup was complete, I started using it and playing with the thermal camera and other features. The thermal camera was very sensitive and could see wildlife in my backyard from over 100 yards away in the dark. Once back inside I started setting up my email and other accounts and while doing so the phone suddenly powered off and back on again. I didn’t think much of it and went right back to setup.

The thermal and night vision alone have been so much fun. I will find so many uses for this phone. And it says it doesn’t work on AT&T. But I’m having no problems at all. I was completely ready to switch to TMobile or someone new. Great phone with power and speed.
