Best phone on the planet!!! – After 2 years of 6 hrs of talk time per day my ear speaker started to get a little distorted. So I ordered a new one because for some reason Verizon stopped carrying it. (Probably because they lose $$ because they don’t break.) And since then, I have bought another one just in case they discontinue it.

love this phone, and the seller MobileSpree as well – Some glitch won’t allow me to leave MobileSpree feedback. So I’m editing this review to reflect my positive buying experience with MobileSpree. The phone continues to function and though there is still time on the refurbished phone return I’m sure I won’t need to. FAST shipping, prompt response to question, an overall positive experience. I got such a good price on this phone and only because there were some cosmetic flaws. Flaws that I had to look for under a bright light. Right now I’m going to order another phone from MobileSpree because the price is too good to pass and it’s a similar phone. If I lose the Casio I’ll get a SIM card from Verizon and be set for far less than I’ve paid for insurance in one year on new phones.

As close to indestructable as you can get – Liked the original Commando C771 and upgraded to C811 as soon as it was available. I work industrial maint. and a avid outdoorsman in all types of weather. My phone has dropped out of trees, in mud,in water, on concrete. Used in tempatures from 20 to 110 degrees F. Can’t see myself with another phone and when I found out that Casio stopped making them I ordered a back up incase I loose it. Can’t understand the bad reviews about it being slow or short battery life. I use mine for looking up parts online, calls, text, and taking pics. Put a 10 gig sd card in mine and it will support up to 16 gig. Even when I use mine as mobile hotspot for my tab, battery last all day with good app manager. Does come preloaded with useless crap apps but still alot of memory to load the ones you can’t live without. Got a few months left on Verizon contract with phone purchased thru them then will be switching to Straight talk. Yes, you can switch it to another network if you do the research. Bottom line, fast, dependable,as close to indestructable as any phone made. The one I just purchased from Brendas Products thru Amazon was new, battery and wall charger still in plastic. Not in original box and without instructions but didn’t need them. Phone shipped and arived on time. Update 6-20-15, phone now rooted, debloated and I am posting this with Casio C811 on Straight Talk.

Great phone for a realist. – I tend to agree that this phone is a beast for such a small package. You could go the otter box route with another android but I don’t like bulk. This thing is flat and fits in your pocket. I use it hunting, fishing, in the rain, shower, snow, wherever. It’s pretty solid. Sure the touch screen isn’t state of the art like a modern iPhone, but it still gets the job done. A few useless apps, quickly disabled speeds up the phone. The only problem I have is the mic and speakers get worn and talking on the phone become troublesome without it perfectly positioned. Don’t blow compressed air into the mic. I did to clean the phone from debris and destroyed the mic on one phone. But who cares, $100 and you have a new one. Why people would possibly pay over $500 for a phone is a joke. You drop $100 for this one, get a SD card (I have a 32 Gig) and you are in seriously good shape and saving money. I threw out my ipod and iTunes and pretty much all iproducts. What a scam. I have all my music on this thing and it Bluetooth’s and streams to a chromeast. I laugh to tears every time I walk by an apple store and see all those helpless sheep flocking to the cash cow.
