A great deal on a FLIR IR camera with a garbage phone attached – If you just want this phone for the IR camera, there’s no denying that it’s a pretty solid deal, but if you wanted it to also be a phone unfortunately some terrible software really sours the experience.

My phone was not water proof. – I really liked the phone but when it fell in water it fried. I was with my children at my in-laws pool and the phone fell out of my pocket and landed on my foot in one foot of water. I picked it up a minute later and the phone wasn’t working. The decal on the back came off revealing a hole. Malodorous smoke started coming out of the hole. It never worked again. I was really disappointed but I expect more out of a ruggedized phone.
