Good value for the money – While it’s definitely lacking compared to flagship phones it works great as a first phone for a kid. Up to date software as of purchase and runs smooth for a low end phone.

Impressed so far – Got this phone to try out Android Go operating system. It is well constructed. Has “pure” Android experience, no bloatware. Display is crisp and clear even though it is non HD. Battery life is good so far. Calls sound clear. Music through from front firing speaker/earpiece is fairly loud although no bass at all. Phone is snappy and does not lag. I am not a power user. Gone are the days you have to suffer with a laggy, stuttering awful phone if you don’t have a lot of money to spend. I paid $99 for this unlocked phone. Good job Android and Alcatel!

5 out of 6 worked – I ordered 6 of these phones recently for the sole purpose of scanning tickets for events. As stated 5 of 6 worked. The touch screen did not work on the broken phone. OK no biggie just send it back for repair to Alcatel. Well wasn’t an easy process but did get it sent off with a ‘case number’ which took many days to be recognized when I logged on to the repair site. BTW I had to pay shipping of $20!!! So 10 days after they received it the status is still – The smartphone is awaiting repair process initiation. Glad I didn’t need this phone for actual phone use. The fact that I have bought 6 and had to send one back for repair…and pay shipping for it why don’t the just send me another one already! All the others work as designed…a little slow sometimes to respond to the touch screen but usable for what I need them for.

Lots of features for not a Lot of money – This is a nice sized phone. Not too small and not large. It is pocket sized but is large enough read and operate. Amazon has a nice fold over case for $8 that is great. It is a good entry level smart phone. A fairly simple operating system is good for seniors. Am using with AT&T and it is comparable. A good price for what you are getting. I’m A happy camper with this little phone Fact is I can make a call from my tent!

Not as Described – This phone is definitely not as described it’s described as unlocked it is not unlocked I had an awful time getting the back off of it because I was going to take my SIM card out of the phone I have now and put it in that one well it took me almost an hour to get the back off and to my surprise it was not unlocked it’s as easy ma phone and there’s a big thing on the front of the box that says it’s not a CDMA which it is it’s a GSM phone which it is not I’m returning it I don’t know why the seller lied the phone I have now I got from Amazon before it’s just I’m having a few issues with it as far as apps going and ringing is concerned but other than that it’s not a bad phone the one that I have now that I got from Amazon so I’m going to be looking for the same exact brand that I have because I know that the brand I have now is unlocked I won’t be buying another Alcatel I’ve never been so disappointed for a long time whoever the seller is I’ve got a message for you you can keep your phone. Cuz I don’t want it.
